What we can learn from an intense conversation at work

Monday, we learned about the theory of convincing climate deniers to change their minds. Today we can learn from a real case. Integrity and honesty are crucial, especially when we discuss environmental causes from a human perspective. Claire Cohen-Norris a volunteer with Citizens Climate Lobby, talks about her experience with a climate change denier.


Instead of the usual argumentative debate, she was able to convey her personal reasons for driving an electric vehicle and backing wind and solar farms. By opening up, they were able to discuss the issues at the core of their concern; the visible effects of climate change.
