  • Design with consistency - Be consistent with the design elements like colour palette, typography and fonts.

  • Avoid poor legibility - Your text should be visible and clear to read.

  • Avoid colour discord - Your colours should complement each other.

  • Prevent non-proportional scaling of graphics and text- Maintain proportions while scaling.

  • Stay away from raster-based images - Avoid raster-based images by choosing big pictures with high resolution.

  • Maintain alignment- Graphic elements should align

  • Seriously, only choose 3 fonts - Limit yourself to no more than 3 fonts.

  • Establish a visual hierarchy - This is the use of size and colour to emphasize a certain factor over another.

  • Watch your grammar, spelling, and punctuation- Your material should be error-free

  • Embrace whitespace - Having ample white space within your design can add a sense of professionalism and sophistication
